We donāt usually break from our weekly cadence, but some news is worth its own post. This is one of those.
CreateOS just ranked #1 on the ComputeSDK Sandbox Benchmarks - out of 27 providers.
Not by our own measurement. On an independent, public leaderboard that anyone can verify, run on identical hardware (4 vCPU / 16GB RAM, Northern Virginia, US).
The numbers š
Hereās what ātime to interactiveā looks like on CreateOS sandboxes:
Median TTI: 0.34s
P95 TTI: 0.38s
P99 TTI: 0.38s
Composite score: 96.5, ahead of every other provider on the board.
But hereās the part weāre most proud of: look at the gap between the median and the P99. There barely is one.
Anyone can post a fast median. Almost nobody can post a P99 that close to it. That 0.04s spread means your sandbox spins up just as fast on the worst day as it does on the best one: no cold-start lottery, no tail latency surprises. Consistency at that level doesnāt happen by accident. It took a lot of blood, sweat, and sleepless nights from the team to get here.
